It is so exciting to be embarking on this new journey. After a lifetime of “Maybe one day”s and simply letting life get in the way, I have finally accomplished my goal of publishing a collection of my own poems.
This process has proven to be very educational in its own way. I have been introduced to people and topics that are completely outside any of my experience and I embraced it all.
No matter how successful the book is or is not, in the public eye; it is a major accomplishment in my life and nothing nor no one can take that away.
I am so thankful for Angela Hoy and the whole team at BookLocker.com. They have been superb to work with and I would absolutely recommend that any novice author looking to have their work published give them a try.
I love that they did not sugar-coat the publishing process and the amount of work that promoting your book takes. Let me tell you, my book is barely out and I feel like it’s a second job. But that is exactly what it is. If you believe in your work you want to give it every chance to succeed and that my friends takes work.
